I'm just happy that I'm speeding through my work much more quickly now. My guess is that it is the rendering of the note links that is crashing the program, but that is obviously for the devs to discern. I turned off show links and show title in the notes field, then closed it completely. I'm dragging files en masse directly from the finder to under a thought. With the aforementioned caveat, here's what is working flawlessly (so far): ![]() I just love this version of TheBrain and it checks so many boxes that I think it is worth the hassle of restarting now and then. I'm sharing this not to complain, but rather to help others who are chancing real work on a beta. We're using beta software and I'm mindful of that. I made quite a few adjustments, so I can't be sure which one of them helped. I found a way to drag in a bunch of files and child thoughts that is NOT crashing the program. To TheBrain 12 Team any chance this might happen or is there more efficient way to achieve these agree, this should probably two threads, but as long as I'm still adding data I want to help anyone trying to do the same, plus, I made another discovery this morning that I'm super-happy about. What I'd like to see is the ability to drag in a folder and its files and have the folder name become a parent thought with the files becoming internal child thoughts named after the files and including the file as attachments. Written down, this looks like more work than it actually is, but I've committed to using TheBrain 12, so in for a penny, in for a pound. ![]() Those crashes seemed to be occur when I was rushing things.
